The core program at 3DTi, is a uniquely developed
12-Week Project Based Course (PBC). This course was designed around the three
most in-demand projects, specific to their respective software, in the 3D industry.
The course is created to model real world applications, so student taking part
in the course work for mock clients for each of their projects under the supervision
of their instructors. Learning in this method prepared students for real world
once they have graduated. Beginners however, before taking part in the 12-Week
Project Based Course, are required to take a 4-Week Foundation Workshop to familiarize
themselves with this method of learning, and with their chosen software.

How are the 3DTi online programs conducted?
Our classes use a unique combination of self-paced
training videos and live-online sessions which are conducted at fixed time during
nights and week-ends. So our students can learn the software and creating projects
using self paced video tutorials that have been carefully created for each class.
Then they can attend the live online sessions each week where they have the
capability to switch to their screens and show the instructor their progress,
and get feedback from the instructor and other students in real time on their
projects and learn to take their project progress to the next level. The live
online classes are conducted using the latest screen sharing technology where
not only you can see the instructors screen and talk at the same time and show
you screen to the instructor and other students in the class. But also if the
instructor wants you to help you with your project he/she can take control of
your mouse and keyboard. with your permission and help you out. 3DTi provides
a complimentary one hour live online demo class so that you experience how our
live online training is conducted and decide if the format is right for you.
What are the benefits of online training
v/s. regular classroom training?
At 3DTi we used to conduct class-room training
in New York for many years.In 2007 when we started offering our training programs
online, seeing the advantages it had to offer and most importantly the increase
in quality of student work, today we conduct all our tanning live online. In
a class-room if you do not take good notes or if you miss a class it is harder
to makeup. In our online classes you can watch the self paced training videos
we provide as many times as you like so you do not have to worry about missing
anything. Besides when you attend the live-online session which is very similar
to class-room training, expect that you attend from your own home so you save
time and travel expenses. Unlike most traditional schools, 3D Training is able
to offer its students a wide variety of support even during the days the classes
are not conducted, by email or using our live helpdesk on certain times during
the week. Another big advantage is that our training programs will not interfere
with your travel plans, since students can attend the class from anywhere they
have access to high-speed internet.
Does 3DTI offer certificates or diplomas?
Yes. 3DTi is licensed by the Bureau of Proprietary school supervision and
issues a diploma upon successful completion of the 3D Project Based course.
Does 3DTi have a placement division?
How can 3DTi help me find work?
3DTi is not like other traditional schools and
colleges so we do not have a placement division. But we help our student find
work in a variety of ways. After completion of the 12 week 3D Project Based
course and the demo reel/ portfolio, we have individual strategy sessions and
provide our students with individual strategy sessions. We provide post class
support for one-year after completing the program where students can host their
demo reels/ portfolio and get critique and feedback from 3DTi instructors and
other alumni.
After successful completion of the 3D Project
Based Course and submission of your demo reel, students are offered a one-year
free membership program that provides additional learning support, guidance
to improve their demo reel, and assistance in finding work. Successful graduates
from 3DTi also have the option to set up their own home-based studios and work
on client projects in collaboration with our production and consulting divisions.
3DTi advisory board includes owners and directors of affiliate animation companies
who critique student reels, and look to hire our talented graduates for their
own production needs.
